Deferred Action Success Story

Yesterday one of my pro-bono DACA cases was approved. I had the privilege of telling the applicant first and hear the surprise and happiness they felt at the news. This applicant is an excellent student, a leader, and was accepted at a top university. Yet they still lived in fear and with the stress of not being able to work. This case reminded me of what this blog is all about and why I do what I do. This student will be able to begin college next year with a better chance to succeed.
